hey.
The feeling of freedom caressed me again today. Its been awhile since i flirted with it. I guess its because Im anticipating a full week of break. Heading out again during the evening after having a full day of doing completely nothing but perusing reminded me of not-so-distant memories, rewind to a time a few months back… The missed lingering feeling of just “takin it easy”. Where time isnt a factor for any busy schedule, just the position of the sun in the sky as it folds into the horizon. Yeah, it felt really nice. Its weird because I forgot how lovely it feels to be under that. But then you end up thinking back, and then you end up thinking about now, and then you end up missing people, and then you end up feeling bad because youve been caught in quote-un-quote “important things” in life. And so you end up wanting more of it, and then anticipation builds. So now theres this clash of what you see/think is “important” and what you feel/know is important. Again however, you end up finding a justification for that certain reasoning and purpose. You shake it off and think ahead but before you know it, youre caught up again.
ps. it doesnt help that the darjeeling limited is on right now either.

UCPD in riot gear. What does this picture say to you? To me, it says that the institutions have targeted STUDENTS as the ENEMY. It means that our brown, black, red, yellow bodies have been CRIMINALIZED. It means that we are a THREAT and are DANGEROUS.
However, it means that we are POWERFUL. The Regents are afraid of us. The Regents know that when it comes down to it, they will be unable to escape the power of the students. There are 200,000 of us, and there are 23 of them. In numbers we are strong. In numbers we must proceed. In numbers will we be able to reclaim our right to a FREE public education with equal access for all.
It`s time to RUCK THE FEEGENTS and take back this university.
